...in my backyard, feeding the dusk-dusted mosquitoes
there is no doubt that i'm an amateur photographer so i try not to make too many apologies for my rookie mistakes, but i've got to apologize for the following and all the camera shake. but while i'm apologizing for the technical mistakes, let me tell you that i was absolutely giddy while taking these, hence some of the shake. it was the excitement of the awesome addition to my camera i got to test tonight. a very generous family friend of ours sent my husband home with a lens for me to play with because he thought i might enjoy it. he was right. very, very right. our backyard looks almost magical at dusk, but i've never been able to capture that magic until now. i can't wait to play with this lens some more--next time with less shake! promise.
